Sanding Review Series : Dress and Assesories

I love love my dress and my hubby's baju dat day...

for those wondering, the color mula2 nk amik gray je.. and nk wat pelamin pink and white to match the theme. tapi pastu baju gray only takdak size cz kami menyewa je tak mampu nak buat. also if buat mmg i dun thk ill b wearing it again. so~ sewa la yang terbaik buat kami.

what we did was we gabung 2 sets baju lelain.. actually dlm set gray tu matching ngn outer coat white but i pilih the pink one, in which dier actually ade pink bustier and skirt.. and tada!

Baju kitorg pakai ni comfy, well tailored tapi..sila JANGAN beli/sewa/tempah kain potongan duyung kalo ade nk naik turun tangga cz i really almost trip onto my face the 1st stairstep i took..saaaaaangat berhati2. phew..seb bek tade jd pepe yg menyegankan..

 

The tudung i beli kat Jln masjid india. Bought the kosong ones and then pegi kedai yang ade service iron on diamante to customise to my needs. The pink ones are swarovski crystals. yg tu kne mahal sket (50sen per bijik).

Honestly my tudung tak jejak Rm 50 pon. hee...and im really happy the way it turned up to be.

Also i choose to NOT wear tiara cz i dun wanna look taller thn Luqman cz we are of the same height. Thus this flat headpiece is JUST PERFECT. cumenye kne letak 10 jarum peniti atas kepala je la. 

Kasut ni nye cerita bole jmpe kat cni.. 

Alhamdulillah my choice was a real good one. Berdiri berjln all day sgt selesa. tak terasa LANGSUNG sakit kaki. cushioning dier superb. 

paling penting the shoes made me feel so like a princess..specifically Cindarella cz the heels look like glass!

I love my Shoes.. sgt suka

P/s: kepada yang nak tau pasal my package baju ni.. nantikan post seterusnye! lom ade masa nk tulis bebyk lagi. Kerja isnin-ahad ye.. so,pls bear w me n b reminded dat i miss all of u =[

Eventhough theme sanding would be this...we were brainstorming and mula2 igt nk the bestman and bridesmaids pakai soft baby pinks...

Tapi my mom tak puas hati takmo my bro complain kene pakai baju pink pdhalnye my bro takde kesah pon cz he is like the world's super concious kononnye metrosexual guy la kan...

Bincang2 nye bincang..last skali kate..ok la ok la..i wat pelamin kaler pink. Me and Luqman pakai grey-silver itu and the org2 pengapit serta famili bole pakai off-whites. takde la org bising pon... 

So dgn ini i officially am announcing dat our theme colors da berubah...*okay tak la ubah sgt*..it is now...

Sneak Peek Kain Nikah

It took us FOREVER  in this quest of searching my kain nikah and alhamdulillah it is all over...

Dah kau tim ngn my tailor kat Terengganu nak anta masa raya cz she sed she has alredy cleared her time for me. Pepun I'm her 1st priority. And she said since kain da elok, no need for further beading sume..2weeks-1month is sufficient. And i realy hope she delivers. So far im cool w her cz she does my baju raya since i was like..erm..form 3? 10 taun tu~!! She also did my baju tunang which was a direct replica from majalah pengantin design dia. Agak decent la for a non-designer,kan?

Anywho....

and the more minute details of it... i mula2 nak cari kain yang kaki dier meriah tapi badan kosong tapi cmne tah last skali my mom my sisters sume suke ni and i figured..yep,mmg cantik pon..okay i tipu..mmg cantik sgt!

4 metres of lace inclusive satin lining and a credit card swipe later...we left a happier bunch..hehe

Expidisi Ke Jakel Shah Alam

Sungguh rambang mata 3 jam spent kat situ. Orang ramai nk carik ruang bernapas pon takde. Tiba2 ter-black-out terus gelabah sekalian Jakel. Masa black out I dekat tingkat 4..purely where rich bridal laces, chiffons and satin linings are...dalam gelap tu dgn kagumnye masih nmpak lip lap lip lap bergermelapan manik-manik serta jemeki mewah atas kain2 mereka.

Salesperson dier amatla frenly. I had 4 diffrent ones following me around-lain org lain floor (despite org GILE RAMAI) and giving me and my mom the best services and advises. Padahal kami 2 org hanya ber-t-shirt dan berlipar jepun sahaja. Makeup pon setakat lipstick dan eyeliner yang di apply ngn ringkas.

Kalau ade yang follow2 ni senang sungguh bile nak bayar. No need for beratur pon. Rase cm VIP pon ada. 

In the end pusing-pusing bagai nk rak kami beli apa? Well, since we are yet to decide the bridal material kerana terlampau rambang mata... end up beli these...

Ini suma adalah baju for AJK majlis yang terdiri dari my mom punya office staff yang telah ngn berbaik hati nye mem-volunteer diri untuk menghulur bantuan. Saya sayang anda semua! So far kami beli kain for lelaki 10 org and the ladies 10 org. Hope they'll like it. Their color mmg tak sama ngn tema. So that nmpak la sikit mereka AJK. Lgpon malas la nk wat corsages ape sume.

For the ladies kain dier jnis casablanca/ yoryo satin (tak bape sure which one) and for the men shark skin crepe satin.Terbatuk gak la mase hand in credit card my mom td. hak hak

The design mmg masa nk pilih sampai juling bijik mata. Last skali rasa ni yang paling nmpak exclusive,elok di badan and elok bila masuk camera. Yet matches ALL age groups. Do you peeps thk so too? =]

Remember my nikah theme? Hence, I wanna make a putih bersih baju nikah and mayb if ade beading would be peach and hints of gold.. so help me vote ya.. i will be going to the tailor by end of this month...help me please..

What I need is to look pure, and elegant..itu je. (and also baju tu i nak bole pakai g tempat lain like dinner or majlis kahwin org lain..simple but elegant and not OTT)

Ya,i know I patutnye sedang memerah otak dan membaca buku also menyiapkan reports. Tapi Melaka amatla panasnye sampai pening kpala 3 panadol pon tak mmbantu dan 5X mandi pon tadek efek..maka semangat belajar itu kian pudar lalu timbul semangat ber-mengarutan

I found this site and went insane! Haha..bab bazir masa sila serah pada saya. Dan ini la hasil menggodek2 selama agak2 sejam..

E-Day Review Series: The Dress, Accessories etc

I bought this drees punya kain longer than most people can imagine. The kain beli kat Udupi during  Sem 5 and now I am in Sem 10..this baby waited for 4sems+ (about 2 years) before it was shown to the world! See how looking forward I am into spending my life with this sweetheart of mine?

Anyway, It was actually material for punjabi suit. White matt satiny material for the lining and the lace (full 4 metres) was pakaged together as a set. Masa nak beli tu i called my mom to ask her ape kain yang sesuai and she mentioned only "sweet, not over the top, preferably pastel colors" and upon seeing this kain, mcm ada deja vu...trus je sambar. hehe.

I sent it toKuala Berang, Terengganu for tailoring. My grandma was the one setttling the whole affair for me. Yang amik, yang anta *dan yg bayar..tq TokWan!* . The design was almost a direct copycat from last year punya Pengantin mag. Tailor itu agak hebat,kan?

Tudung and veil pon all the way from Trengganu as i really was kesuntukan masa n tak sempat nk g cari2 dah. so i seah sume kat my TokWan and Cik Ngah *abah's sis*

My kasut actually ada je dlm bilik. Pink colored beaded flats, beli from india gak. Tapi terlupa nak bawak turun hasil terlbih bizi aritu..aih~

Overall my whole outlook dat day i boleh nk puas ati except dat i put on 2kg right before the event..sgt heart wrenching.. 

Sedar tak kain dier ala2 payung/duyung? hehe . I like!And the lengan is Saloma style. Ni pulak from the back..yep,agak gempal disitu

Details of the veil. I like the veil tapi since i ni sgt tak ladylike dan berjalan pon macam godzilla...ramai org yang sedang elok bersimpuh/bersila atas lantai muke ter-kena libas ngn veil yang gila panjang ni.hehehehe sorry.

And ohya..accessories plak.. The 2 abngles are my mom's..white gold and rows of diamonds. Gerun masa pakai.hehe. My grandma insisted on the rantai emas yang panjang meleret tu.katenye bagi naik seri. and the bracelet-necklace set pon my granny bought for me when she pergi holiday ke Sabah like a month before the E-day. 

I so love my E-day dress.& since baju ni da ter-lbih vogue lak *at least to me la*..da tade idea for nikah nye baju.isk. Da la kain kat cni lagi pricey and choices dier same for evryone..uh~sdey..

you know what they say about finding the perfect white dress...well,i wish i could say the same..cz i knw i wun b wearing one.but again,since im so much of a dreamer,here we go






i fell in love with colors on top of the white..its classic yet UN-traditional


this was vera wang as i remmbered.Obviously i can never afford this.








i just love beads i had to put this up



eventhough this one is rather outdated,im still all favours for it..

is it okay if i rent a gown for the sake of looking good (once in a lifetime) for the photos?
