Photobooths Anyone?

I've been dreaming of this. Nak satu nice corner in the dewan to set up so dat people can go insane taking piccies. And we get to keep tabs of the tetamu. Nice kan? I asked Eman and he said Insya-Allah he will not come alone..ada like 2 people w him at least. So, they can cover the photobooth for me.. 

Set~~... now tggal nk get inspired and do something cam all these creative peeps...and of course nak carik props segala bagai,kan...

Proses memerah otak bermula..

Hapdet SUPERPANTAS *byk homework...eceh mcm dak skolah lak homework.. okok assignments*. I booked one of my OP's yesterday. Knal dier sbb my fren Eija (remmber this entry?) mase tandang itu hari this guy ada tag skali ngn her OP...or are they a team? hurm..anyway.. i present to you...Eman Ismail

(ya,ini Eman..dier pakai Canon EOS 5D)

He is NOT a pro yang ade big teams and all but he is good and definitely fits my pocket! *i also asked him to bring AS MANY taggers he wants..10 pon takpe*

This was his mail to me regarding his pakage (ni intro pakage cz he baru nk berjinak2 dlm wedding photo)

akad nikah = RM 200 (~2 hours)

one reception session (4 hours) = RM 400; each additional hour = RM 50.

pre-wedding portraiture session, dipakejkan dengan reception = RM 300. 2~3 hours max. korang boleh decide tema, baju, tempat etc.

and then bonus: post-wedding portraiture for free.
usually shoot after reception lah, dengan baju pengantin, dalam sejam macam tu je :)

so contohnya katakan kalau you guys nak pre-wedding outdoor portraiture session + akad nikah + receptions on both sides (4 hours each) = RM 1300 (base price).

finally saya akan edit gambar, burn dvd (unlimited), dan insya Allah print up to 50 keping 4R-sized best photos. yang ini pun kira bonus lah sebab saya tak dapat buat album lagi untuk masa sekarang (sedang diusahakan). apa2 pun pasal album ni saya akan update later.

I thk he suits our pocket tho takde album segala bagai..mayb i bole try kecek2 sticky from him at least? hehe.. *gdik la kay ni*

 erm i boleh cover jauh if transportation costs & kalau boleh penginapan sekali (kalau event tu dua hari, contohnya) dicover oleh client :)

And why I needed two teams of OP's? Well, my mom tensi sket cz mase E-day aritu tak byk guests nye pic cz Syirul tak terkejar nk tgkap gamba sume org..and he was also a bit distracted (with the food..hehe..dier mmg kaki mkn) dat he forgot totally for a family potrait!Adei~

So i said to Eman..u ikut je sume guests. The other team akan ikut the bride and groom KEMANA sahaja. Also, the other team ni nk i tambah Rm300 if i nak wat outdoor pas majlis..so~ baik i amik 2 teams,kan..backup..hehe

Should I Start Panicking Now?

Oleen my housemate budak Kedah (Kedah yang gile jauh tu okay!) has set her dates on the 6th Nov 2010... beza 20 hari je ngn mine (my nikah 26th Nov) and yet she da ade sume2 she needed to have..

Her nikah nye baju da anta, baju sanding da tempah and pilih, fotographer da setel, umah da cat separuh, bilik pengantin and pelamin in progress....

Argghh~ ini suda me-nensi-kan! I hav practically NOTHING yang da btul2 siap..marah ngn diri..grrrr!~

Remember my nikah theme? Hence, I wanna make a putih bersih baju nikah and mayb if ade beading would be peach and hints of gold.. so help me vote ya.. i will be going to the tailor by end of this month...help me please..

What I need is to look pure, and elegant..itu je. (and also baju tu i nak bole pakai g tempat lain like dinner or majlis kahwin org lain..simple but elegant and not OTT)

1st off this is me..sila faham saya tak se-slim model walaupun tinggi bole lpas interbiu (170cm) dan mmpunyai bentuk yang hourglass type of curvy..(my vitals are 37-29-39)--> ye, saya montel

El's Wedding Day,of Pinks and Citrus

Kali ni nye review is on Elyina's wedding, My hi-skool fren masa kat TKC dulu. Kali ni i bagi u all tgk pics more than i berckp cz i skang tga tak byk modal nk berceloteh. Tga brain freeze sbb letih sgt..

1st off on the way to the hse, I lalu jln belakang so terserempak ngn bunting ni. Yang klaka i boleh tak sdar sbb i was such in a hurry. Dlm perjlnn balik baru eh~ el n amad nye signage upenye...

Then jalan mengikut lagu...makin kuat maknenye makin dkat (p/s: da g umah El 3X pon still cnpius lagi). And i was greeted by these.

Comel banner ni... (i also had the same idea nk wat ala2 movie nye promo banner though...aih~)

Haruslah bercerita ttg mkn dulu so dat gamba pengantin dan sebagainye jadik finale entri kan..kan?

Nasik minyak, dalca sayur, ayam masak merah, kurma daging, buah and kuih. Rasa-MARVELES. sedap . Rugi tak tambah 2X. Ada gak cendol tapi i was running outta time tak sempat merasa. Isk!~The caterer is her mom nye good fren. Ill ask her later more abt it.

Doorgift yang again sedap from Restu Rezeki..popular mereka ini. Inside i dpt the 5 petal nye mawar marble cake.

Ni lak the whole look..theme dier like my entri yang ni kan? hehe.. tak sangke ade gak yang wat. Turned out nice.

Kite into pelamin dulu okay..ni done by Pak Abu..the same designer dat did Dahlia's wedding

Baju sanding ni kain bli sndri, beaded french lace matchingkan ngn veil gak. Tailored at Surabaya. I liked her design, Material is sgt mewah..terasa berat yg memakai.

The cake...i taruk extra besar sbb i SGT SUKA cake ni.. Sedap amat sgt okay! She bli tis cake kat Cheras katenye. Again member her mom. Sedap...sedap and sedap! It was buttercream cake w vanilla buttercake on the lower tier and orange buttercake on the upper one. 

The topper i tak sure beli mana but i suka. comel~

Gamba wajib sume wedding! hehe

To El and Incik Amad.... Congrats, finding love is a gift in itself. Treasure it. Treasure each other. May u will be partners in life,...and also in Jannah. I'm so happy for u both. May happiness are for u lovebirds for life.

So to (Shutter)speak

The name Shutterspeak memang bukan nama baru for people yang at least sekali pernah go thru majalah Ratu Sehari and Pengantin.4 tahun bukan sekejap. Sudah gah nama Shutterspeak dipersada photography/ Visual Arts di bumi Malaysia ni.  As an ardent fan of photography and weddings myself, of course la meng-usha para photographer yang paling best (dan menepati budget) would be my utmost priority on the list...since a pic not only speaks a thousand words, they last u lifetimes altogether!

I always love pictures that capture moments. Kalau happy biar btul2 orang tengok trus rase nak senyum, kalau sedih biar berderai airmata yang menatap gambar tu, if it its meant to be romantic, let love fill the heart of the one seeing it.. u know, as such the emotions are embodied eternally in the pieces of memories that are there to stay..never to be forgotten.

Seeing this pic make me feel,aww~ the couple are sharing a good time despite their hectic Big Day and it is really heartwarming to see so. Composition pon superb lak tu

The elegance is timeless.. i love how they play with croppings and desaturation.. don't it make u wanna have this kinda pic so much? Lagi pulak ngan veil yang berterbangan tu... ouh, i just fell head over heels

Making use of the sunbursts are one of my favourite! It adds some form of mystery and quirkiness to the whole setting,kan? Kena pulak seaside..termimpi2 I

Of so many photos I have ever seen on pre-wedding portraiture, this one is my idol. Just look at it, the love is so intense i can feel my heart slowly bursting inside. Like the models are silently whispering to each other "Don't let me go.. make me eternally yours".. it haunts me..simply does

Details would be another i am crazy of.. I mean especially for weddings as such, brides (& the others yang terlibat) spend their hours,days,weeks,months and sometimes years just to perfect the smallest of the minor-est details of the Big Day.. It is only justifiable if the photographer is brilliant enough to notice and bring a huge smiles on the faces later on.. I hearts ~

Thinking outta the box. Eventhough if taken full this may just be another picture of a couple formally sitting down trying to look good (and mayb plain bo-ring~).. deciding a different way of seeing how the pictures are to turn out is the mark of a great photographer. And pictures will turn so much interesting  it is impossible to NOT wanna look. I can bet u that u will at least look at this pic for 10 seconds.......*10 seconds over* ..kan?

E-day Review Series: DIY Hantaran

Bagi org2 yang rajen membace blog ni *timekasih jasamu dikenang!*.. mesti terpikir bile nmpak entri ni.."eh,minah ni tak abes review E-day dier lagi? banyak nau cite..mesti mulut murai"

well, to start with mmg i ni sgt ramah dan hebat kecoh bila mood dtg *tga dtg mood la ni*..so, bear with me la ye..hehe

The hantarans are credits to my aunty (aunty marly)  and her lovely konco2 yang dtg umah siap tlg2.. i dunno wat to do without them..buntu okay

Hantaran ni mostly gune bunga stokin cz mmg my aunty nye fav. and since cantik, i okay je. hehe. asal kene theme i tak bridezilla..

The dulang pinjam from Aunty Maly nye kawan gak..tak sure sapa.. and the lapik dulang skali ngn styrofoam berbalut kain organza and lace ribbons tu pinjam Aunty Rohaya nye masa Kak Frida (her daughter) kawen.

This one is adidas collared T and Paker fountain pen yang tak expect pon nak bagi..takde dlm senari pon. Tapi sbb i silap kira..masa my aunty calculate2 ..eh, tak cukup bhn nk taruk masuk dulang..uih,kabut i berlari ke market mmbeli ini dua brg..haih~ bad planning btul
